Waste/Recycle service canceled for February 19, 2021

Due to continued severe winter weather and road conditions, our solid waste collection services  will resume operations, according to regular service on Friday , February 26nd.

Due to the suspended services this week, we expect there to be many households with needs for extra service for the next 2-3 weeks. We will plan to collect additional bags and bundles that are placed at the curb, above the normal set out limitations. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we navigate our way back to safe and normal operating conditions.

Our commitment remains to the health and safety of all people – our customers, our employees, and community members.

Waste/ Recycle Service Friday, February 19, 2021 canceled till further date.

Due to the current severe winter weather, our solid waste collection services continue to be suspended and will resume as weather permits. Currently, we expect conditions to become suitable for resuming services no sooner than Thursday, February 18th.

Once able to resume services, we will make every effort to catch up over the remainder of the week and into the weekend. Please have residents leave any uncollected carts at the curb to allow our crews to catch up. Asking residents to hold off placement of bulk items for collection will also help our efforts to catch up. Due to the length of suspension of services, there is a strong possibility that the impact of delays will roll into next week.

While we make every effort to provide all residents with a service for this week, there remains the possibility that some will be left without a service by the end of the week. For those residents, we will expand our efforts to collect any extras that may have accumulated over the delay period when we return for the next scheduled collection on the following week.

Our commitment remains to the health and safety of all people – our customers, our employees, and community members. In the event that we take the above stated measures, we will communicate as far in advance as possible. And we will make every effort to return to a normal course of service as quickly as possible.
